Our tree nursary bed

Planting trees is a powerful and effective way to protect the environment, offering numerous benefits. Trees help mitigate climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, they improve air quality, reduce the urban heat island effect, prevent soil erosion, and They also play a role in reducing reliance on commercially grown produce, contributing to a more sustainable food system. At tifose, we plant both fruits such as mangoes, oranges, lemons, pawpaw, guaves and avocadoes and non fruits such as acasia, euculptus, and neem.

Community involvement in agriculture

The level of farming that the community around kirembe particulary nyamirangara sub-village still base on the subsistance kind of where production and quality is low and this practice is characterized by small-scale operations, reliance on traditional methods, and limited technology. However, this practice is still vital for household food security.
